About Safelight. What it is and how it works.

Safelight is a website template for a photographer or a small photo studio that shoots weddings, editorial and commercial work and sells prints. The home page opens on a slow black and white film of cloud pouring over dark limestone peaks, with the studio name set huge across the frame, a running timecode, and a red grease-pencil ring that draws itself around one word of the headline, the way a photographer marks a select on a contact sheet.

Safelight, photographer and Photo Studio Portfolio Website Template

It follows the funnel that books photographers: the work first, then the three services, then a price before anyone has to ask. The conversion tools run fully in the browser with no API: a session builder that prices the kind of shoot, hours, second photographer, photographs, albums, usage licences, extras and travel, checks the date against the diary and fills in a shoot sheet with tax, deposit and balance, then hands the quote to the enquiry form.
