# WordPress

> The WordPress edition is a block theme you edit in the Site Editor, with a companion plugin for the content a theme can't hold. It is in production and not on sale yet; if you own a template, it arrives as a free update.

> **In production** No template is ready in WordPress today. [Meetly](https://frontiertemplates.com/templates/meetly), [Relay](https://frontiertemplates.com/templates/relay), [Mordant](https://frontiertemplates.com/templates/mordant), [Merrow](https://frontiertemplates.com/templates/merrow), [Northwind](https://frontiertemplates.com/templates/northwind) and [Corbel](https://frontiertemplates.com/templates/corbel) are in progress. Until yours ships, the HTML edition is a good start.

## What it will include

- **A block theme**: every page as a template in the Site Editor, header and footer layouts as template parts, patterns for each section, and a dark style variation.
- **A companion plugin** with the post types a site like this needs (team, careers, customers, integrations, changelog) and a one-click import of the demo content.
- Self-hosted fonts, with their licences in the theme folder.

## How it will install

1. **Upload the theme** Add the theme to `wp-content/themes` (or Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload) and activate it.

2. **Install the companion plugin** Upload and activate it, then run the demo import from the Tools menu.

3. **Pick your layouts** Choose header and footer layouts under Appearance → Editor → Patterns → Template parts.

We'll publish the final steps and requirements here when the first theme ships. Want to know first? Write to hello@frontiertemplates.com.

## Forms

WordPress forms come from a forms plugin. The theme will style its fields, but the sending is up to the plugin you choose.
